Seems like a good place to start. I'm not sure how long the picture will last, since I basically directlinked it from another site.
I... well, lets not make this about me, in general. lets go broader.
People.
Thats better.
In my old journal, near the end, I used to reference images of people dancing alot. I used to dream about them. I'd see vivid ballrooms, with only two dancers. I'd see a ballerina in a snowy field, rotating as the sky reflected like glass. All sorts of images flitted through my head. Centered around this central theme.
Well, here we go. How does it relate to everything?
Last Night, I went out. From bar to Bar. I was welcomed by old friends and made some new ones. And I spent most of my time watching. I saw girls running in packs, and guys chasing. I saw people doing everything just to be noticed, just once.
I saw little boys with bowties chasing girls in pigtails.
They were all dancing. The awkward little mating dance everyone does, in one way or another. Plumage and all. It's a metaphor we've all heard a hundred times before.
At the time, when I was posting all those tiny little narratives for dancing in dreams and the like, all I was saying was that I was lonely. Thats it.
Now, I'm not particularly proud of that fact, but it's something I wanted to get off my chest. Why here? Just for this:
Thats not what this is for. No hidden meanings (which, the way people talk, I feel like I'm famous for), no underlying text, or ubiqutious messages.
Which brings us back to the beginning. Why the picture?
Because, I did.
